Hello everyone.
I’m looking for some advice on radiator valves, particularly thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs). I have several radiators around the house, and I’m not sure whether I’ve got them set correctly for the best balance between comfort and energy efficiency.
Should the valves on radiators in different rooms be set to different temperatures, or is it better to keep them fairly consistent? I’ve also heard that the lockshield valves on the opposite side are important for balancing the system. How do you know when these need adjusting?
Are there any simple checks I can do myself to make sure the radiators are heating evenly without wasting energy?
