I have heard some reports that HMS Photovoltaik are easier to install semi-DIY since some of them use micro-inverters to remove high-voltage DC wiring. However, I am not sure how workable this would be when it comes to someone that is not an electrician. Are plug and play components? Or is it still necessary because of safety regulations to make professional installation? Any do-it-yourselfers in the house who have experience working with HMS systems, how complicated was the installation?
