    Hi everyone,

I’m currently creating a D&D campaign and need believable kobold names for my characters. I’ve noticed that the right kobold names can make a big difference in immersion and world-building.

I found a great resource online that lists a variety of kobold names, but I’m curious how others customize or adapt names for their games. Do you use short, snappy names, or more elaborate ones? I’d love advice on selecting the best kobold names for players and NPCs alike.

Choosing the right kobold names can significantly enhance immersion and world-building in a D&D campaign. Short, sharp names like Krik, Snag, or Vrix work well for common tribe members, while longer, more elaborate names like Griknash or Drak’thil suit leaders or unique NPCs. Many Dungeon Masters create consistent “sound rules” for different tribes, giving names a cohesive cultural feel.
