So my 2015 Wrangler started running hot last week during the afternoon traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road, and the temp gauge climbed almost to the red before I pulled over and let it cool down. I topped up the coolant, but the next day it happened again, and now I can smell that sweet syrupy smell when I park, plus there is a small green puddle under the front. I am pretty sure the radiator is leaking or clogged, but I have never had to deal with cooling issues on this Jeep before, so I am not sure if I should just replace the radiator or if there could be a bigger problem like a failing water pump or thermostat. A guy in my building told me to find an Expert Jeep radiator workshop because generic garages often miss pressure test issues or use the wrong coolant, and I would rather get it properly diagnosed once than keep guessing. Has anyone here dealt with something similar in the UAE heat? Did a radiator swap fix it, and how much did you end up paying? I just want to get back on the road without worrying about cooking the engine on my next desert drive.
